ZIAN × REVO Studios — Step Into the Light

One shoot. One campaign.

ZIAN makes clothes for women who walk in and own the room. The light should treat her that way.

We met ZIAN at New York Fashion Week and shot their pieces on the fly in Times Square. For the full campaign we bring everything into one big shoot at REVO Studios, where we control every light.

The palette is ZIAN's own: black and white, high contrast, hard light and real shadow, with a few deliberate pops of accent. The energy comes from movement. Nothing in this campaign stands still, in the photos or in the film.

The shoot at a glance

One day, three sets: the CYC wall, the LED wall, and the spotlight stage.

Wind

Hard sources only: a spotlight, pulled gobos, the LED wall. Deep shadows, no flat fill.

Brand

ZIAN's black and white in every frame, with space built into the hero shots for the logo.

What we're taking from it: all-black styling, sharp tailoring and boots, strong poses built on action, a hard spotlight in haze, and a clean white cyc with crisp shadows.

Motion reference

How it should move.

This reel sets the tone for the film: low-key and close, with hard light on skin and faces falling into shadow. The camera takes its time, and there's attitude in the stillness before the movement hits.

03 — The Sets

Three sets, one day.

Set 01

The CYC Wall

A bright white cyc with one bare hard light, so the model throws a crisp shadow on the floor and wall. Fans push hair and fabric. The poses are big: kicks, turns, strides. This is the clean, product-forward set that feeds the lookbook and the website.

Set 02

The LED Wall

Action photography in front of moving black-and-white LED backgrounds: stripes, grids, strobes, and the ZIAN logo. The wall lights the model from behind and sets the pace. The steadicam orbits and pushes in while Alexis catches the peak of each move.

Set 03

The Spotlight

A black stage with haze and one hard spotlight. The model steps into the circle of light, and pulled gobos throw lines across her and the swimwear. This is the dramatic hero image, and it opens and closes the film.
